What’s a Brian Roth (aka ‘the bio’)?
Brian Roth is an award-winning sound designer and composer with over 25 years of professional experience including twenty years in the Los Angeles/Hollywood market. Along with writing music for advertising, films and promos he has composed music used in over three hundred television series across the major networks. Brian worked extensively with the biggest names and agencies in the advertising and branding business, producing audio for thousands of radio and television spots. He enjoyed many years focused on entertainment marketing producing high-end radio promos for many major networks and film studios including ABC, Universal and TNT, even winning multiple Promax awards. He has also worked in various sound roles for several award-winning films including four Emmy winning documentaries as well as films that premiered at Sundance, Cannes, and the LA Film Festival. Not to mention, a wide variety of other audio projects ranging from music videos to podcast productions.
One of his passions is helping other musicians and creative people find their way in the business and fostering their love of music. Because of this he enjoys teaching at Michigan State University College of Music and owns and runs a community music school that has helped hundreds of families find music.

Brian works from his own professional digital recording studio complete with an array of the newest software, plugins and sample libraries always at his finger tips. He has collected many instruments, a vast sound effects database, and a bunch of things that make funny noises that he enjoys. Plus the studio has a fully functional isolation booth and lock to picture capabilities to assist in all kinds of creative projects. What’s more, after over twenty five year as a professional, both in the Hollywood creative scene and as a instructor at a major university, he has established relationships with many musicians, vocalists, actors, music supervisors, ad agencies, studios, collaborators, production libraries and more! This means he probably has the contacts he needs to meet your music and sound productions request no matter the size, scope or even budget! A lot of possibilities means better creative results!
